These ones are in full res (because I am an F1 nut!)
For those of you interested in photography, all these shots were taken with a Nikon D3100 DSLR and a Tamron 70-300MM lens.
Basically, this is a simple blog about a Linux guy who lives in Mauritius, the Paradise Island. Actually 2 Linux guys, with plenty in common, so we are sharing this blog... I have a small company, which basically provides computing solutions. Preferably open source solutions. So generally you will see me using "free" apps as apposed to everyone else...

More pics from the airport
This is Lewis' 2009 McLaren car, as you can see by the tires.
This was in a Jhonny Walker stand at the airport.

A dream come true!
The dream of any true petrol head is to watch a Formula 1 race live.
I have been given that opportunity! I am currently in India to attend the full weekend of racing from Friday to Sunday. Will post pics when I get a chance.
Ciao for now!

I have got a new car!
I just got a brand new Kia Cerato Hatchback. Specs
1.6Litre Petrol, 4 cylinder engine 124BHP, 6 speed auto with tiptronic manual option. The colour is known as "Bright Silver"
Options : Integrated audio system with USB port and iPod connector, with audio controls on the steering wheel. Integrated bluetooth, with remote control on the steering wheel.
Review : This is a fantastic car, ignore all the bad things about Kia from years past. The build quality is right up there with the Golf. The design is fantastic, and the designer is non other than the ex chief designer of Audi, think Audi A5, A6 etc..The extras are standard, which are normally expensive options on other car brands, eg BMW, bluetooth is a really expensive option. The comfort is fantastic, interior noise is a minimum. I cannot comment yet on the economy, as the engine is still running in and really tight, but it has got better, as I am nearing the 1000KM mark. Performance, same problem as the engine is still tight, but you can feel it is quite willing to pull.
So far, I am really happy with my choice, I will try and keep everyone up to date as the car runs in, if anyone is really interested, but hey. Here are some shots of the car.
These pics are in very high resolution, so be careful if you open them.
